Effect of insulating glass production area and curing area environment on adhesio

(1) The environment of the construction area and the curing area, the equipment should be kept clean, and the mixing of dust, water and impurities should be prevented during the mixing process, otherwise, the stress concentration point of bonding damage will be formed due to the mixing of impurities.

(2) Insulating glass sealant should be constructed at a temperature of 5 ° C ~ 45 ° C and relative humidity of 40% ~ 80%. Because the ambient temperature is too low, on the one hand, the viscosity of the glue becomes larger, which is easy to cause poor mixing; On the other hand, the surface wetness of the glue is reduced, and frost and ice may be formed on the low-temperature profiles, thus affecting the adhesion of the sealant. At high ambient temperature, the anti-sagging property of the sealant will become worse, the initial curing time is accelerated, the application period is short, the sealant is too late to wet the aluminum and glass surface, its own has become a semi-cured state, which greatly affects its adhesion, the relative humidity is too low will make the curing speed of the sealant slow down, but too high relative humidity may form a condensate film on the surface of the profile. It affects the adhesion of the sealant and can also make the sealant form bubbles.
